the monmouth agricultural show is the largest one-day show of its kind in the country and takes place on thursday 26 august on its new site on the redbrook road.

cheltenham festival of literature

normally held in october, and especially good for those who missed the hay festival, with an equally varied mix of top authors and topics. cheltenham often hosts jazz, blues and world music during the festival and you'll find a visit very rewarding.
